Where do you visualize your character fitting in to the post-war wizarding world? What do they do?
Lisa would probably be one of the many younger wizards and witches trying to help to world through healing. She decided quite quickly after graduation that she wanted to do something that meant something. She wanted to be able to touch people and help them, so she enrolled into the Healers program at St. Mungo's.

Does your character have any hopes, motivations, dreams or desires?
The reasoning behind Lisa's motivation to become a Healer is the fact that her father died a few years ago and because so many people got hurt in the final battle and she felt helpless. She never wants to feel that way again and wants to be able to help people. Her hope is to be able to touch people and be able to create relationships with everyone she encounters. Her dreams and desire are probably the same as most young people; to become successful, to create a family, and to be happy.

What are some struggles your character might undergo?
Trying to reach that perfect dream is going to be hard and she understands that, but she underestimates how hard it will probably be. She's going to have to struggle with more schooling and trying to create friendships and relationships. School is going to end up being the center of her world for a while and that's going to affect anything she does. She also has to help take care of her mother, which takes a toll on her, seeing the sadness her mother carries.

What are any existing personal relationships that your character might have?
Lisa may still have friendships with people that were part of the Ravenclaw house. She tried to make friends with everyone in the house (come on, you had to live with them for 7 years!) and other people throughout school, so if nothing had completely ruined those friendships they should still exist.

What's a secret that your character has that he or she has never told anyone?
She never told anyone that her father died. It happened during the summer after her 5th year and she didn't want anyone to start to pity her. She didn't want to be treated differently from anyone else.

Short third-person POV roleplaying sample:
Lisa stepped up to the window of Purge and Dowse, Ltd. and stared up at the dummy. Her right hand was gripped tightly around the strap of her bag and she took a deep breath. Her body was shaking and she was completely nervous to be going to her Healer orientation. 'What if they made a mistake and I'm not supposed to be there?' she thought to herself. She shook her head, realizing that she needed to get those thoughts out of her head, there wasn't a mistake and she had to face her fears and go into St. Mungo's. She spoke to the dummy, which acknowledged her and allowed her to enter the building. "Here we go, don't fall and don't faint," Lisa said to herself in a whisper as she finally took that step through the window.

First-person POV journal entry:
Why did no one tell me that there were so many disgusting hexes? I saw a man today whose entire face was covered with disgusting oozing bright blue pimples. Gross. I cannot believe that we are expected to be able to know what exactly to use to get rid of any ailment. My head is swimming with all the different potions and lotions and medicines. Ugh! Also, there are far too many people in my class and I really don't know if I will be able to graduate. I know that's my pessimism shining though, but I'm really scared. Oh gosh, I really hope I can become a full Healer, I think my mum would be so proud. Speaking of my mum, I better go write her an owl and make sure she's okay.
